About Me
Hi there! I'm Elise and this is my little corner of the web. Welcome! Something you probably already know about me is that I'm passionate about scrapbooking. I sometimes joke that scrapbooking could be the means to world peace, and I'm only sort of kidding. Can you imagine what the world would be like if everyone had their own book filled with memories, pictures, journaling-- "proof" of each individual's life and value? Really, it's something to think about.
I'm doing my own part to promote world peace, or at least keep my three sons' and our family's memories alive with my scrapbooks. I have been creating scrapbooks with my pictures since I was in high school and I love everything about it. I have a pretty big stash of paper goodies and try to get my hands dirty with the scissors and glue as often as I can. In 2007, a friend's blog introduced me to digital scrapbooking and I've been hooked ever since. You can read more about my scrap evolution here.
A long time ago, I heard a motivational speaker ask the question, "If money were no object, what would you do with your life?"-- kind of like a what do you really, really, really want to be doing? I remember thinking that I wished someone would pay me to scrap! Now, as a digital scrapbook designer, I feel like that question has been answered-- this is what I would do! I started designing digital scrapbook supplies in June 2008 and currently sell my designs at The Digichick. I love working with different colors and themes and trying new ideas. Some things work better than others, but I can see how my style and creativity keeps growing with every new kit. I love it!
Because I love to print digital scrapbook papers and elements and create hybrid projects myself, I make sure my designs are created at 300 dpi and in proper gamut for high print quality. Additionally, my designs are S4H/S4O friendly-- please refer to my Terms of Use if you have any questions. If you are interested in digital scrapbooking, be sure to sign up for my monthly newsletter for freebies and coupons!
If you'd like to get to know me a little better, feel free to visit my family blog here!
